Welcome to Farma Hrzín.
Our farm is situated in the Blaník region between the towns of Votice and Vlašim. The picturesque village of Hrzín is approximately 65km south east from Prague.
The farm was started in 2013 by Christopher and Zdenka Robertson and presently has an area of around 40 hectares. Christopher Robertson was brought up on a family farm in Northumberland, England before moving to the Czech republic in 1995. Spending the first 22 years of his life with 600 sheep and 50 cows made him eager to get back to his agricultural roots.
We specialize in producing organic lamb and Texel breeding stock
The sheep are all reared in an extensive manner with full access to the natural surroundings that include pastures, woodland and streams. None of our land is treated with chemicals. We work together with nature in an ethical way, paying attention to the best animal welfare practices.
By farming in this way we are not only producing superior lamb but conserving the land for future generations.
Our farm is certified as an organic farm since November 2017.
